If youโre looking to be right in the middle of the entertainment action, you wonโt find much better than Park MGM Las Vegas. The resort has its own theater, is steps away from T-Mobile Arena and is within a short walking distance to multiple venues. Since nights out in Vegas tend to be late, itโs always a fun option to stay on the Strip and enjoy our city from a visitorโs perspective. MGM Resorts invited us to experience all that Park MGM has to offer, so join us on an entertaining staycation at Park MGM Las Vegas.
An Entertaining Staycation at Park MGM.
Check-In
Prepared for an early start, we utilized the mobile check-in process. We checked in remotely, followed the instructions and were told we would be notified as soon as our room was ready. We were able to get our room number and room keys quite early and made our way over to the hotel.
Since itโs rebranding from Monte Carlo to Park MGM, the space is virtually unrecognizable. The design aspect of the property can be felt throughout, from the lobby to the hotel rooms. The entire property is also non-smoking, which immediately sets the resort apart from other resorts on the Strip.

Though room keys arenโt checked by security before entry to the elevator vestibule, keys must be scanned to access room floorsโa security feature we enjoyed. We also utilized the MGM Resorts app as our room key (a convenient feature if room keys tend to fall to the bottom of your bag).
The Park MGM Two Queen Room had a great view of the Stripโas locals, we often tend to forget that the bright neon lights are a bit atypical. The full window seat was also a nice touch for comfort and space-saving. The room felt less like a Las Vegas resort and more like a sophisticated hotel stay in a bustling city. Even the gallery wall above the bed felt transportive.

Lunch at Eataly
Not sure what you feel like eating? Take a visit to Eataly for some serious foodie inspiration. With a complete market, food counters and multiple restaurants, youโll soon want a little bit of everything. Take a walk through the Mercato to find pastries, sandwiches and all sorts of fresh foods and Italian specialties. If youโre a bit of an oenophile, swing by the wine shop for specials and tasting flights. Eataly is also a perfect spot to grab some snacks for your room, like a bottle of Italian wine and some delectable chocolates from Il Ciocolato Venchi. If youโre a bit short on time, order Mercato items via Instacart and pick them up in-store. If youโre in the mood for a whole experience, check online for specialty dinners at the Chefโs Table or try one of their cooking classes. After lunch, take advantage of the spectacular location and venture out to the Strip.

Dinner
No matter what youโre in the mood for, youโll likely find something perfect at Park MGMโthere are so many fantastic options, it might actually be more than a little bit difficult to decide. Best Friend by Celebrity Chef Roy Choi is always an excellent choice for comfort foods and fun fusion cuisine. Not sure what to try? Check out the Chef Menu for $69 per person and get a taste of various Best Friend specialties like the โKogi Tacosโ and the โKimchi Fried Rice.โ

If youโre feeling like a sophisticated night out, the Library at Nomad Library is an ideal choice. With one of the most picturesque dining rooms in Las Vegas (itโs seriously a library), dine on gourmet offerings like the โFoie Gras Torchonโ and โLe Grand Plateauโ or shared offerings like the table side tuna tartare and the prime rib. Order the โThe Appetizing Shopโโsmoked Ora King salmon and caviar if youโre feeling extra fancy.

A Night on the Town
Park MGMโs location is perfectโitโs relatively central on the Strip, so most of the major resorts are close by (this is especially handy in the summertime when the heat is more than a little oppressive). If youโd like to stay on property for all of your entertainment needs, check out the calendar for the resortโs entertainment venuesโ Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have both held mini residencies at Park MGM.

Breakfast
A visit to Park MGM Las Vegas wouldnโt be complete without Primroseโs breakfast (or brunch). The restaurant is adjacent to the lobby, so itโs a perfect place to visit before or after check-out. Primrose can get a bit busy on weekend mornings, so reservations are recommended. Once inside, youโll completely forget the bells and lights of the casino thatโs just steps away. At Primrose, youโll find the basic breakfast fare with a twist. The โDeep-Dish Pancakesโ come with a selection of unexpected flavors and the lunch menu is full of comfort foodsโperfect for one last meal before heading home.
