Prepare to be swept away by an evening of romance, excitement, and sizzling performances as Melody Sweets returns to the stage with her latest show, All My Loving. Following her wildly popular holiday production, Sweets is set to deliver an unforgettable, one-night-only spectacle on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Myron’s at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. This intimate production promises to be a celebration of love in all its forms, featuring the signature charm, humor, and sultry allure that have made Sweets a beloved star of the stage.

A Valentine’s Day Treat: Melody Sweets’ All My Loving Show in Las Vegas

“All My Loving was inspired by Valentine’s Day, which is all about celebrating love, desire, and connection… so naturally, I thought, “Let’s make this super intimate show—featuring sultry burlesque, naughty love songs, and a bit of cheeky fun—and do it in a room packed with people!” Sweets told us. “Because nothing says “one-on-one connection” like sharing the moment with an entire audience, right? You can expect something for everyone, whether you’re a hopeless romantic or just there to enjoy the ride!”

Myron’s provides the perfect stage for shows that require a more intimate setup for performers and audience members to get just a bit closer. “The space allows me to get up close and personal; there’s a rawness to it amongst all the glitz and glamour, where every little movement, every gesture, feels magnified, Sweets said of why Myron’s is the perfect venue for the show. “It gives the performance a vulnerability, and that intimacy really draws people in, making the experience feel more personal. Essentially, the room itself is part of the show—it’s another member of the cast.”

As one of Vegas’s most known faces in burlesque, you might remember Melody Sweets from the hit show Absinthe, where she starred as the predecessor to the show’s current “Green Fairy. Sweets brought a tongue-in-cheek allure to the stage and continues to do so with All My Loving. I try not to take myself too seriously, Sweets explained. Burlesque sells itself, and live music adds that extra layer of energy—it’s spontaneous, keeps things fresh, and makes every moment feel alive. It’s all about timing … and,  of course, happy endings.:

Even a smaller show on an intimate stage requires significantly more preparation than one would expect. “Preparing for a production like All My Loving definitely involves a lot of rehearsals, but it’s also about fine-tuning the details, Sweets said of the process. “I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a micromanager—I love getting hands-on with the creative team to make sure everything is perfectly in sync, from costumes to choreography to music and transitions. And working with the sound and tech crew at Myron’s is an absolute dream. But it’s not all about the technical side—we also have a lot of fun in the process! I try to keep things light and playful, even in rehearsal. I think that energy carries through to the audience and helps elevate the whole experience.”

Long before taking the stage at Absinthe, Sweets had a wide repertoire of performing experiences while working with legendary singers like Lenny Kravitz, Steven Tyler, and Sting. “I’m honored to have had the privilege of performing for and working with some true legends, Sweets told us of her experiences. “Each of these experiences has been humbling and inspiring! They’ve taught me that authenticity matters, to always trust my gut, and to give 100% to the audience every single time.”

With a name like Melody Sweets, it’s no surprise that food comes into play in her life. Sweets hosts a web series called “The Sweets’ Spot that allows her another outlet for her creativity through culinary cabaret. Food is such a sensual experience, and I love how it ties into performance, Sweets explained. “Both are about engaging and satisfying the senses, right? In Sweets’ Spot, I get to merge my love of baking with my passion for entertaining. I see it as another form of performance—whether I’m preparing a dish, singing a number… or both! It’s all about creating an unforgettable experience for the audience. The series allows me to bring my two worlds together in a fun, wild, and imaginative way. Plus, food and performance both have this magical way of bringing people together, so it’s the perfect combo!

Speaking of food, as a long-time Vegas local, Sweets has more than a few favorite spots in town for delicious food (and sweets). Oh, Vegas has so many amazing spots, it’s hard to choose! But I’m definitely a fan of old-school Vegas, she told us. For dinner, I gravitate toward classic Italian spots like Piero’s, The Italian American Club, and Casa di Amore. There’s also a new place in town called Zio’s that showed me a good time—perfect if you’re after something a bit more modern. For drinks, Herbs and Rye and The Golden Tiki. If I’m craving a late-night snack, my go-to is the over-the-top Vegas gem, The Peppermill. And for those morning-after moments, the coffee and Cuban food at Makers & Finders on Main Street really hits the Sweets’ spot.”

So how does one of the city’s most acclaimed performers spend a night out on the town? “At home. After my show, of course. *insert winky emoji here* Hahaha.”
