In recent years, the restaurant industry has experienced a paradigm shift. Gone are the days when simply serving good food was enough to draw in customers. In this new era, restaurant owners must also think carefully about their establishment’s design, atmosphere, and brand image in order to stand out in a crowded market. One such owner who has successfully executed this strategy is the creative mastermind behindย ATTI, a Brooklyn-based eatery that has become a local favorite. With its unique, thoughtfully-crafted design, ATTI proves that attention to detail can make all the difference in creating a truly exceptional dining experience.

“ATTI’s design philosophy centers on a commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail that transcends fleeting trends or flashy elements. Our guests are meant to experience the dedication and thoughtfulness imbued into every design aspect,” Ju Young Oh, Co-Owner and Designer of ATTI told us. “This is evident in the carefully chosen materials and the cohesive aesthetic that ties everything together seamlessly. Additionally, we have strived to incorporate intricate details throughout the space, allowing quests to discover new elements and appreciate the design on a deeper level. Ultimately, our goal is to create an immersive and memorable dining experience that is visually stunning and emotionally resonant.”

“One example of our dedication to intricate details can be seen in the neon-signed, hand-polished, dry-age meat locker that is prominently displayed, piquing the curiosity of our customers,” Ju Young Oh said of the space. “This attention-grabbing feature not only serves a practical purpose in the restaurant’s operations but also adds an element of visual interest to the overall design. The careful placement and illumination of the locker draw the eye and contribute to the immersive dining experience we strive to create.”ย

“Another example is in the long hallway guests pass through before reaching their seats. Rather than simply a functional space, this hallway is an extension of the restaurant’s design,” Ju Young Oh told us. “It features solid wood slats that provide a warm and environmentally friendly contrast to the crystal-washed-mirrored wall behind it. The warm-colored light in this wall further enhances the space, creating a sense of comfort and ease. Guests can also observe subtle movements and reflections through the wood slats, adding to the immersive experience.”

“Even the wallpaper, with its rough hand-printed texture, has been carefully selected to balance the overall aesthetic, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere that reflects our commitment to design excellence,” Ju Young Oh explained. “Through these thoughtful design choices, we want to elevate the dining experience and make a lasting impression on our guests.”
