“We have created a unique product, experience & space that has been able to evolve with the times,” Owner Nina Manchev told us. “I have a deep love for the work and appreciation for everyone that comes through our doors, as we are off the beaten path. We have been able to form close relationships with our guests and are a go-to spot when someone wants to show their friends and loved ones something unique. I think it’s all about evolving and not giving up!”

A Food Network and Local Favorite
If you’re a Food Network fan, the restaurant might look familiar. Many visitors are fans of Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, making Forte Tapas a dining bucket list destination. “Really often, especially when they re-air the show, it’s so incredible what a huge impact Guy Fieri and his shows have on people,” Manchev said of the show. “It has brought in some of the most genuine and wonderful guests that go to places he’s covered around the country. My favorite times are when people from out of Vegas bring in friends from Vegas and introduce them to Forte!”
The restaurant isn’t just a favorite among traveling foodies. Forte Tapas has a huge following of locals and is often listed as a regular spot among Las Vegas’s intense foodie scene. “We really push fresh ingredients and home cooking,” Manchev explained. “Everything is made by hand, and we don’t use shortcuts to keep our menu authentic, fun and good for your body! We have a lot of staple dishes that we are known for, and we can’t change a thing about those, but we like to create specials so we can offer guests more options. I think that’s ultimately what has gained respect from foodies.”

Unique Dining
The eclectic cuisine of Forte Tapas, coupled with the cozy vibes and fun atmosphere, is definitely a winning combo to keep diners coming back. “When we evolve with our menu, especially over the years, we count on feedback from our customers, especially our regulars,” Manchev said of keeping the menu fresh. “If we put something out as a special and they love it, most likely it will become a part of the menu. Sometimes it’s hard for me because the market here is competitive, and there are so many trends to try to keep up with, but over the years, I have realized that if you stay true to what you do and make it the best you can, there will be people that see that and appreciate it. There are plenty of places in Vegas that offer similar menus with different expressions, but there is only one Forte.”
The inviting atmosphere is especially close to Manchev’s heart. “I think a collage would be the best way to describe it; it’s been layered and layered over the years with artwork (most of which I painted), pieces acquired through travel and memorable moments, and gifts from friends and guests. I love minimalistic design and simplicity; I am usually more drawn to it, which is strange because everything in my life is filled with color and stimulation. It just feels lived-in and warm, but I know it’s different! We have a lot of customers that come in and notice something new every time; I think that’s fun and playful and makes the space interactive.”
