Experience Ghost Town Alive! at Knott’s Berry Farm This Summer

Ghost Town Alive! brings a fun and interactive storyline to the streets of Calico daily until 4:30 PM. Visitors can take part in missions with some of the costumed residents of the ghost town and become part of the day’s story. Snap photos with the locals, wander the town, and shop some of the local goods like custom wood plaques at Calico Sign Carver, fun souvenirs and western goods at the General Store, various Boysenberry products and a variety of sweet treats at Ghost Town Candy, and vintage goods at Little Spurs.

Visitors can also admire replica weapons at the Overland Gun Shop and join gold miners at Pan For Gold. If you’re looking for a full family souvenir, visit the Pitchur Gallery to get an old-timey Western portrait of your whole group. If you’re planning a full day in the parks, consider an all-day premium dining pass that allows you a meal every 90 minutes and beverages every 15 minutes—it’s perfect for keeping your group fed throughout the day and allows you to sample a great variety of foods throughout the park, including locations within the Ghost Town area like Ghost Town Bakery, Fireman’s BBQ, Calico Saloon, and Calico Tater Bites.

Miss Cameo Kate’s Western Burle-Q Revue has returned to the Bird Cage Theatre with a fun show for the whole family. The show follows the plot that Miss Cameo Kate returns to Calico with a cast of performers that she brought back from her travels after she had her heart broken. The small stage includes live songs and dances that are family-friendly, and the show takes place three times a day.

Ghost Town Alive! concludes daily with the Hoedown in Calico Park, where the costumed residences and visitors join in on the fun and dance to end the day’s events. If you’re looking for evening fun in the ghost town, Krazy Kirk & The Hillbillies can be found at the Wagon Camp, with shows starting at 6:00 PM, and the Ghost Town Miners perform at Fireman’s BBQ with performances beginning at 6:45 PM.
