Have a Blast at The Gun Store

The longest operating machine gun shooting range in Las Vegas, The Gun Store has been held in high esteem for its weaponry available, high safety standards and informal and friendly approach. Each and every customer who walks through its doors is provided with an individual range instructor, so whether it’s your first time shooting or you 50th, you’ll always feel that safety is top of mind.

The first part of your experience at The Gun Store is to talk about what to expect with any of the friendly staff. They’ll school you in the different types of weapons available, their commitment to safety and how the range works. No question is too small, and they’ll quickly put you at ease. Next, select your firearm and your target, collect your goggles and earphones, and you’re ready to approach the shooting range.

Now your adrenaline really starts to kick in as you walk down the hall to your shooting lane. Inside, your range instructor goes over all the necessary details, such as how to hold the gun, pair up the sight to your target, lean in, then—fire away! Your superego just may take over here as you feel the rush of target shooting; it may be hard to put that weapon down!

The Gun Store is celebrating the opening of its new indoor range that includes comfy VIP rooms perfect for any party (looking for a different type of bachelor/bachelorette hangout?). In all, The Gun Store now has more than 30 shooting lanes, with six individual ranges and two private VIP ranges.

The Gun Store uses lead-free and frangible bullets—it’s just another way they’re thinking of user safety. Frangible ammunition is designed to break apart when it hits walls or other hard surfaces to prevent ricochets in close quarters. These bullets are often used in police and military training procedures and are composed of hybrid materials either pressed together at high pressure or glued together with adhesives.
