Festival favorite Life is Beautiful returns to Downtown Las Vegas this month from September 16-18, 2022. Though it only debuted in 2013, the event combines live music on multiple stages, comedy performances, art and culinary delights.

With less than ten years of existence, Life is Beautiful has easily become one of the world’s favorite festivals. “That’s an incredible honor to be given, and we have an amazing team of individuals who pour themselves into the planning and execution of the festival,” Life is Beautiful Head of Music & Programming, Craig Asher Nyman, told us. “For fans, I hope it’s not just one thing, but a myriad of reasons that make Life is Beautiful stand out. Our festival sprawls over 18 city blocks of Downtown Las Vegas, making it really easy for fans to walk from any of the awesome hotel properties nearby to the festival in under 10 minutes. Or our food and beverage program, which highlights the best of the city (and we have some of the best cocktails around!) The art program has produced some of the most fabulous murals across the city, turning Downtown Las Vegas into one of the best open-air art galleries in the country. Our music program continues to span multiple genres, bringing in hit makers as well as the best of “what’s next” in music.”
Unlike many music festivals that focus on one specialty, Life is Beautiful blends multiple art forms for a true celebration. “We are very grateful to have an all-star team of individuals working tirelessly on the festival to make sure we can offer some incredible experiences every year,” Nyman explained. “We break down to Music/Programming, Culinary, Art and even further from there—but it all comes together to build the unforgettable Life is Beautiful experience fans have come to know and love. It really takes an army to make a festival go, and we’ve got a fantastic team with an important common goal: to deliver the best experience to our fans.”
Each year, Life is Beautiful has continued to wow attendees with unique spectacles and experiences like the CASA BACARDÍ activation that is set to take place for its fifth year. “Fans can count on having a truly magical weekend filled with best friends (both old and new!), tasty eats, amazing music, fantastic art, beautiful sunsets, smiles, laughter and big sing-a-longs—and a few Slurpees along the way, too (yes, we’ll have a Slurpee truck on site from 7-Eleven),” Nyman shared. “he great thing about Life is Beautiful is that there are surprises around every corner, in the best way possible.”
Exciting new experiences are also set to debut at this year’s festival. “One thing I’m really excited for is The Pizzeria,” Nyman told us. “It’s the first time it’ll be at the festival, and we know it’s going to be a hotspot for foodies all weekend. Everything is curated by Vegas Pizza Fest and Good Pie Owner Chef Vincent Rotolo, and fans can try a rotating menu of specialty pizzas crafted by chefs from across the city. They’re only making about 200 pies per day—and when they’re gone, they’re gone!”
With so much to enjoy, we asked Nyman about his favorite part of Life is Beautiful. “It’s the team I get to work with, it’s the smile on fans coming to have the best weekend of the year, and it’s about family,” he said. “Seeing the impact that positivity can have on a community—no matter the size—is incredible. Life is Beautiful, but sometimes you just need a reminder, and hopefully, that resonates with everyone.”
