Resorts World Las Vegas Opening Night

Itโ€™s been well over a decade since the last newly-built resort opened on the Las Vegas Strip, and we couldnโ€™t be more excited for the arrival of the latest Las Vegas resort. With more venues opening (and reopening) all over the city, it only makes sense that Las Vegas would celebrate with something truly monumental. I was gifted a coveted ticket to the private grand opening celebration on June 24, so follow along as I walk you through Resorts World Las Vegas.

Arriving at Resorts World Las Vegas

The first thing I noticed as we drove towards the stunning red property was that the signage was pretty fantastic. There are two ways to get to the parking garage at the resort. If youโ€™re trying to avoid traffic on the Strip, do what we did, and enter through Sammy Davis Jr. Dr. The self-parking garage is easily accessed this way, and there are plenty of spaces.

Once you enter the casino floor, youโ€™ll pass the collection of Rolls-Royce vehicles if youโ€™re coming from the parking garage for hotel guests (self-parking guests will enter from the side, but youโ€™ll still see the cars). You can opt to continue walking straight or make a right turnโ€”either direction will take you towards some of the fantastic dining options that Resorts World has to offer. Youโ€™ll come across Dawg House Saloon & Sports Book (a Nashville favorite) before you immediately walk into Famous Foods, an enormous food hall with 18 different food stalls.

Famous Foods Street Eats

Famous Foods Street Eatsย consists of numerous authentic street foods from all over Asiaโ€”itโ€™s impossible to taste them all in one day (I personally made a second visit days after the opening just to try some of the foods I missed). You can order in person at each stall or opt to utilize one of many kiosks. These kiosks allow you to order menu items from any of the stalls at once. When your food is ready at each stall, youโ€™ll receive a text message prompting you to pick it up.

Dining and Retail Spaces

If you keep going and venture off the casino floor, youโ€™ll run into various shops and restaurants here too. Wallyโ€™s Wine & Spirits, Redtail, Fuhu Bar & Restaurant and Viva! By Ray Garcia are some of the restaurants you will find in this hall. Make sure to explore both levelsโ€”luxury retailers like Hervรฉ Leger and Judith Leiber reside here, along with trendy stores like Fred Segal and specialty shops such as Pepper. Looking for photo ops? Resorts World Las Vegas has plenty of stunning spots for the perfect Instagram stop.

Around the Casino Floor

Head back towards the casinoโ€”thereโ€™s still plenty to see. Kusa Nori and Sunโ€™s Out Buns Out are just off the casino floor, and you canโ€™t miss either one (both restaurants also provide great photo backdrops). If youโ€™re in the mood for some upscale gaming, Crockfords Casino & Lounge provides the perfect VIP experience. Next, make sure to explore the tower where the Hilton portion of the resort resides. Genting Palace is at the end of the short hallway, and around the corner, Sugarfina and Nectar Bath Treats can be found here in candy-colored storefronts.

Resorts World Las Vegas Pool Complex

Venture into the Hilton lobby and make a left to the elevatorsโ€”these elevators bring you to the stunning Resorts World Las Vegas pool complex. The enormous pool area was host to the grand opening after-party where Paris Hilton and Tiesto performed their sets, and the complex is home to Ayu Dayclub. Visitors at the pool donโ€™t have to give up their lounge chairs if theyโ€™re hungryโ€” Resorts World has partnered with Grubhub for a brand new concept, On The Fly at Resorts World, powered by Grubhub. Guests can order food from various in-house food outlets to be delivered to the pool or their hotel room.

Still to Come

While weโ€™ve visited many of the fantastic spots at Resorts World Las Vegas, we havenโ€™t fully experienced everything the massive resort has to offer. Not all of the offerings are currently open. Later this year, visitors and locals can enjoy new experiences like Zouk Nightclub and The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, which will host residencies by Celine Dion, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Katy Perry, the resortโ€™s founding headliners. The spa will be opening at a later date, along with several other fantastic dining options.

At a later date, Resorts World Las Vegasโ€™s Boring Tunnel will open with a seamlessย connection between the resort and the Las Vegas Convention Center. We canโ€™t wait to see what else this fabulous property will bring to Las Vegas!
