Vegas has got the right stuff! New Kids on the Block announced their upcoming residency at Dolby Live inside Park MGM in June, July, and November 2025. The announcement was made at a secret fan event before their appearance at the iHeart Radio Music Festival. Arriving on a Big Bus Las Vegas double-decker bus behind roaming billboards featuring the key artwork for the upcoming residency, the band surprised fans with the announcement on a small stage in front of T-Mobile Arena.

Las Vegas Welcomes NKOTB: A Residency Like No Other at Park MGM!
The excitement was palpable, and even the band members took photos and videos of the event. “We keep saying, you know, we’re excited if WE have our phones out,” member Joey McIntyre quipped. “You know it’s a big deal if we’re trying to capture this.”
“It’s crazy, it’s surreal. It’s something we talked about when we were kids,” member Donnie Wahlberg told fans after the news had a second to sink in. “Like one day when we’re old and retired, we’ll go there. We ain’t old, and we ain’t retired, and we’re here!”
With Las Vegas headliners including Maroon 5, Mariah Carey, and more classic performers, NKOTB are in great company. “Vegas has changed so much. You know, Vegas used to be like we said. Where you go when you’re old, and your career is over,” Wahlberg explained. “And it’s not what it is anymore. Everybody comes to Vegas. And the biggest stars in the world come here to think that we can do it now because of our amazing fans and their support for us.”
New Kids on the Block has built their fanbase on not just their longevity but also their accessibility to fans through cruises, festivals, and other large-scale events that allow their fans to get closer and more personal with their favorite members. “You know, it’s another adventure for all of us,” Wahlberg said. “You know, we get to do something with them that we haven’t done before. And that’s really what it’s about for us. We’ve had this relationship with them for all these years, and we share all these experiences. And now we get to do sort of all of our experiences in one place. You know, we like to go on cruises, tours, and conventions. We’re going to do it all here.”
Finding the perfect venue is paramount, and New Kids on the Block seems perfectly primed to play in one of the best theaters in the city. “Not only do we play in the best theater in Las Vegas. I mean, Usher played there,” Wahlberg gushed. “It’s like… It’s an incredible theater. It’s a privilege to be able to play there. But we want our fans and those who haven’t even discovered us yet to have the experience of their lives every single weekend that we’re here in Las Vegas. And it’s not just going to happen there. It’s going to happen all over the city. We’re going to do events for them and with them. Some of these fans have traveled to 20-something cities. And other fans have done almost as many. But now they can come to one place. We’ll be here waiting. We’re going to give them the time of their lives. And we’re going to hope to put on a show like we’ve never put on before because that’s what Vegas will provide us the opportunity to do.”
In addition to finding the perfect venue, the timing adds another layer of perfection to this exciting new residency. “It’s fantastic. I mean, I think the timing is incredible,” McIntyre explained. “You know, people have always run up by us. When are you guys going to do it? You know, it’s always been in the air. But we knew it was never the right time, thankfully, because we get to go out on the road and make the most of it. And for the last 15 years, we’ve been hitting the road.
And it’s been incredible. But now the timing, I really, we all feel is perfect. And we’re excited to take it to the next level. And have a theater, like Donnie said, that has everything. All the bells and whistles.”
Fans should prepare for surprises and new experiences at the residency in 2025. “When we were just, you know, 13, 14, 15. Like, every chance we got, we would perform,” McIntyre said. “When we pulled up, we said, this would have been an amazing show right here. We would have been thrilled with this. And we thought, what are we going to do differently? You know, our captain, Donnie, was always like, but what are we going to do differently? And we would try to pull a rabbit out of our hat. We might finally pull an actual rabbit out of our hat. I’m just spitballing here, okay? Don’t quote me. But it’s going to be very exciting to have our own theater. And really, really do anything we want to do. It’s going to be incredible.”
“This theater and what we can do in this theater is really cool,” member Jordan Knight concluded. “Because we can set up shop and really get creative. I think that’s making me very, very excited. And like Donnie was saying, Vegas is no longer a place where an artist goes and dies. Retires. Retire in Vegas. This puts a stamp on us. This puts a cool stamp on us. And I’m very, very excited about that. I’m very excited about not having to get on a bus and travel to Vegas. Oh, that’s so great, right? We can just stay there. The only thing we’re riding is an elevator. That’s it. We love it. We can just park here in Vegas and take over.”
The Right Stuff residency with New Kids on the Block opens June 20 with dates through June-July and dates in November at Dolby Live inside Park MGM. Tickets go on sale at 10 AM on September 27, 2024.
