Wall Street is the vibrant and energetic hub of the Financial District, somehow known for towering office buildings, historical sites, and high-end shopping. Thereโ€™s a range of cuisines and cultures as diverse as the people in this areaโ€”FiDi guys in ties wining and dining after the exchange closes, office drones grabbing a slice before catching the subway, and Irish imports opening the bars before the sun begins to set. Check out a few of our favorite spots around Wall Street.

Though Wall Street is not known for being a hub of tourist attractions, itโ€™s still a must-see spot for many visitors. There are numerous iconic photo spots located on the Wall Street area, and many are a haven for Instagrammers and photographers. Make a stop at the New York Stock Exchange and admire the historic buildings lining the Wall Street neighborhood. Visit the Federal Hall National Memorial to see where the Bill of Rights was written. Snap a photo at the Charging Bull and the Fearless Girl statues.

Eat

Start your day with a coffee and pastry at Conwell Coffee Hall (or swing by for lunch to enjoy savories like the Grilled Cheese Croissant and Roasted Tomato Soup). It’s undoubtedly one of the coolest coffee spots in New York City (and that’s saying a lot). Classic steakhouses and five-martini lunches abound in this neighborhood, but the major mainstays really know what theyโ€™re doing in the kitchen, and the pours are always strong. Hit up The Capital Grille for a perfectly done steak or a three-martini lunch. Soak in the ambiance at Cipriani Club 55, rumored to be the original Wall Street Club space. Or freshen up with seasonal cuisine and European techniques for dinner or weekend brunch at Crown Shy.

Shopย

Oh, you fancy! There isnโ€™t much shopping in this area, but itโ€™ll do if you need a splurge or youโ€™re looking for some luxury accessories to remember your trip to the Big Apple. Go big at Tiffany & Co or Hermรจsย with classic statement accessories and luxury leather. Or spend some time refining your personal style by treating yourself to something unique and amazing at Le Labo perfumeries (the Rose 31 scent is a signature fragrance for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts toiletries, so you know itโ€™s a good one).
