It’s not a proper art day without a visit to the Museum of Modern Art, or MoMA, as it is commonly called. After your MoMA visit, head to The Modern for an early dinner. This restaurant is known as the location where Carrie told her friends she was engaged in “Sex and the City.” Besides its pop culture fame, The Modern is also one of the best dining experiences you’ll have in New York City.
A day of art in New York City doesn’t end with dinner. The Metropolitan Museum of Art (AKA The Met) closes at 9 P.M. on Fridays and Saturdays. Additionally, the Rubin Museum of Art closes at 10 P.M. on Fridays.
