Social Station Kitchen and Bar, nestled in Henderson, offers a unique dining experience that combines modern comfort food with a vibrant atmosphereโ€”the combination makes for a perfect neighborhood restaurant that locals and visitors can both enjoy for years to come.ย

โ€œWe wanted to create a concept that is the embodiment of hospitality โ€“ warm, personal and engaging service,โ€ Kelley Jones, Partner of Leverage Hospitality Group, told us. โ€œThere are lots of great restaurants in Vegas, but many fall short of delivering good service. What makes it โ€˜for locals by localsโ€™ is that we are entrenched in a neighborhood, and we want to create something for the neighborhood that isย affordable and has a low price point. People love to hear affordable; many of our appetizers are below $10; many entrees below $20, and even the cocktail program has good drinks priced at $6 and premium drinks priced at $10.โ€

Modern Comfort Food and Vibrant Atmosphere at Social Station

With an extensive menu featuring a variety of dishes crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, this establishment caters to a diverse range of tastes. Though many of the menu items are familiar, diners will also find a selection of modern takes on traditional classic menu items. โ€œWe created the menu by doing a survey and asked over 100 people what their go-to comfort food is,โ€ Jones said of the menu. โ€œBased on those responses, some of our selections include classics such as grilled cheese with cheddar and Swiss on sourdough bread, a traditional BLT, and flavored eggs and chicken wings. Some people said that their comfort food was a Reuben Sandwich, so we decided to go with a Reuben Eggroll.โ€

Social Stationโ€™s location off Eastern Avenue puts it right in the middle of the local action while keeping the space close enough to the tourist hubs. Its location inside a shopping center makes it the perfect neighborhood spotโ€”close to all the weekend errands without feeling as though youโ€™re in a shopping center. โ€œItโ€™s a small restaurant, and you can see every part of the restaurant no matter where you are seated, which creates an intimate setting,โ€ Jones explained. โ€œWe have nine large flat-screen TVs to show numerous sporting events at the same time. The name really says it all: Social Station; we want this to be a true neighborhood experience where you can come in and interact with your neighbors. We will also have outdoor seating to give the restaurant more of a homey feel. Our vision was to create something we wanted to go to.โ€

Whether youโ€™re in the mood for a hearty brunch, a casual lunch, or an elegant dinner, Social Station provides the perfect setting. The prices are also set more for local clienteleโ€”there are no crazy strip prices here for the delicious beverage program. โ€œOne thing we had a lot of fun with was naming our specialty cocktails. We used lots of local names like Coronado, which is a tequila espresso martini,โ€ Jones said of the cocktail program. โ€œWe have a cocktail named The Seven Hills, which consists of Old Forester 100-proof bourbon, Saint Germain, Amaro, and lemon juice. We have a cocktail named Over The Horizon, which is a takeoff of Horizon Ridge and our rendition of a margarita. Lastly, we have The Anthem Sour, which is our rendition of a whiskey sour. All of these specialty cocktails are priced at $10.โ€
