Why do you refer your guests toย The Welcome Guideยฎ, and what makesย itย an important resource for you?
The Welcome Guideยฎย lists all the latest monthly events, and thereโ€™s a free map to help you get to wherever you want to go.

What should be on every visitorโ€™s โ€œbucket listโ€ when visiting?
Watch a Broadway show at any of the 40-plus theaters in Midtown Manhattan. Taking in a musical or play is absolutely a cultural highlight.

Whatโ€™s an excellent spot to capture a great selfie?ย
Go to Duffy Squareโ€”itโ€™s the northern triangle of Times Squareโ€”and take a selfie from the steps.

What is the best suggestion you can give a first-time visitor?
Take one of the Hop-On Hop-Off bus toursโ€”theyโ€™re perfect for sightseeing, with stops near all the iconic landmarks.

If someone only had 24 hours in NYC, where would you send them?
Of course, 24 hours isnโ€™t enough! But hereโ€™s a plan: Go to the High Line and Hudson Yards; be sure to check out the Vessel and the Edge NYC. Next, ride the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty and
then head to SoHo for some shopping. In the evening, see a musical or a play on Broadway.

For a guest looking for a night on the town, what would you recommend?
Check out any
of the amazingly good local restaurants and bars on the Lower East Side, like Katra or Champagne Problems.

Any suggestions for the best under-the-radar sites or uncommon things to do?
Take a downtown culinary tour, like the NYC Food Tour of Chinatown and Little Italy.

What is your expert tip?ย
Make sure you have a slice (or two!) of pizza fromย NY Pizza Supremaย or Lazzaraย and a bagel from Liberty! ย

What are your best tips for exploring NYC like a local?ย
Take the subwayโ€”at least give it a try. The subway is the fastest, cheapest, and most efficient way around the city. Plus, it operates 24/7. It can also be confusing, so check out one of the many subway guides online, or if youโ€™re staying with us, ask!

Whereโ€™s the best place to take kids of all ages?
Central Park! There really is something for everyone in this 843-acre green space, including the Zoo.
