Take a trip to the Upside Down this year, as the new Stranger Things: The Official Store has officially opened in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. Located at the Showcase Mall, the new retail space is the largest incarnation of Stranger Things: The Official Store , as well as the hub’s first long-term location. Presented by longtime Netflix partner, Fever, the store is more than just a shopping destination—it’s a fully immersive experience meant to bring the world of Stranger Things to life.

A Trip to The Upside Down

“All of our experiences are designed to bring fans closer to the Netflix titles they know and love. Following the success of Stranger Things: The Official Store in New York City, Los Angeles, Paris, Dallas, Miami and Milan, we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring the Upside Down to Las Vegas as a kick-off to summer,” Greg Lombardo, Vice President/Head of Live Experiences explained. “This store builds off the Los Angeles location with similar features, yet expanded to include new elements from the most recent seasons of Stranger Things. It will be our largest Stranger Things retail store to date, and its first-ever long-term residency, with plans to be open into 2024.”

Stranger Things: The Official Store offers a unique experience separate from the Stranger Things Experience, which is currently touring Seattle, Paris, and Toronto. With an expanded retail section and different photo opportunities, the store allows visitors a more leisurely visit to explore merchandise from all seasons of the hit Netflix show. “Similar to Stranger Things: The Experience, which has also traveled to a number of cities across the U.S., Stranger Things: The Official Store takes fans of the global hit series inside some of its most memorable settings, filled with familiar photo moments from Palace Arcade, Hawkins High, Starcourt Mall, Joyce’s Living Room, and more. We’re excited to share that the Las Vegas retail store will include a brand new moment where fans can explore Vecna’s attic for the first time,” Lombardo told us. “With each new Stranger Things: The Official Store opening, we have integrated elements from the most recent season of the show. There are exciting, immersive touchpoints throughout that showcase some of the most memorable moments from each season, along with easter eggs hidden for fans to uncover.”

Currently, the only other Stranger Things: The Official Store is a pop-up experience in Milan, making the Las Vegas location the most accessible retail location for those vacationing in North America this year. “Part of what makes this store unique is the 80s nostalgia it brings with its merchandise and products – even if you have never watched Stranger Things, you will enjoy seeing some items that bring back childhood memories or things you might have heard from those who grew up in the 80s. The store truly offers something for everyone of all ages,” Lombardo said of the space. “Unique to the Las Vegas store are a few new merchandise collections—including the Pool Collection with Stranger Things character Billy Hargrove’s essential products and a one-of-a-kind Las Vegas capsule collection.”
