The Spice and Soul of Nomad Girl: A Must-Visit Restaurant in NYC

Nestled in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods lies a true Italian gem, Nomad Girl. This charming ristorante and bar dishes out delectable cuisine from Emilia Romagna, Milano, and southern Italy, leaving diners feeling transported to the cobblestone streets of Italy.

“The Piadina is a specialty that we are the only ones in NYC to have at the moment. We use 24-month prosciutto and Stracchino from Italy,” Alex Cesaria, Co-Owner of Nomad Girl, said of the menu’s most special recipes. “The Pollo Milanese, being made with Organic Chicken, stands out for its quality and freshness. The fresh, handmade Trofie al Pesto with the Burrata in the center is great for the summer!”

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and weekend brunch, serving up delicious Italian cuisine fit for any meal, with an ambiance to match. “Home with restaurant quality is what inspired the menu,” Cesaria told us. “The ability to taste true, quality ingredients and sourcing the best possible by presenting everything in a beautiful setting such as our restaurant.”

A feast for the senses awaits you at Nomad Girl, where delicious aromas waft from their kitchen, a charming outdoor patio beckons diners to settle in and soak up the atmosphere, and a fabulous drink list promises to delight even the most discerning palates. The space also ties into the restaurant’s concept, bringing the dining experience to life. “Violeta Lekutanoy designed the space by keeping in mind the Flatiron feeling and colors and vibe of the area to create the restaurant,” Cesaria explained. “The paint color is part of the entire energy of the restaurant.”
