Mike’s Pastry
Michael Mercogliano, king of cannoli, is the founder of Mike’s Pastry, the ‘Mike’ behind Mike’s Pastry in North End. This man created delicious pastries such as cannoli, biscotti, cakes, cookies, marzipan, pies, famous lobster tails, etc. and drew people from all over to his shop to enjoy. There is always a line in and out of his bakery. People seldom visit the neighborhood without bringing home special treats carried inside a white box with the store’s name in bright blue fond tied with a string bow. The bakery opens Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Parziale’s Bakery
Parziale’s Bakery is another Italian bakery in North End. It carries bread, pizza, biscuits, cookies and pastries. It also sells its bread and pizzas to some of the retailers and restaurants in Boston. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Tatte Bakery and Cafe
Tatte Bakery and Café was founded by Tzurit Or, a self-taught pastry chef, in 2007. Her goal is to have a place for the community to gather, feel welcome and at home. Though each location has its own identity and style, the primary purpose stays the same.
If you miss breakfast, you can always find something on the All Day Menu. The Bake At Home items is also good gifts ideas. Online orders are available for pickup and delivery. To avoid long lines, customers are encouraged to place orders ahead.

May’s Cake House
May’s Cake House in Boston is a family-owned Asian Bakery. It is well known for its Mango Mouse Cake. While many go there for its sweet treats such as coconut buns, pineapple buns, “Wife Cakes,” redbean cakes, etc., there are also savory treats like the roasted pork buns and various rice noodles to enjoy. It opens daily and offers takeout and delivery.

Dinara Kasko, the Brand Pastry Chef, brought her 3D concept into creating her work at Jonquils Café and Bakery in Boston. Its unique and modern design brings in customers who find the bakery an oasis in their busy surroundings. The selections of its exquisite baked goods please both the eyes and palate. The bakery opens daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
